The formula
Premium % = (P2P rate ÷ market rate − 1) × 100
Extra cost = (P2P rate − market rate) × amount of USDT
Market rate is the live global USDT price in your currency (saved rates from 27 Sep 2026). Today 1 USDT = Rs 278.08, ₹95.87 or AED 3.67.
What is a normal premium?
There is no fixed normal. The premium depends on demand for dollars, the payment method and the seller's own margin, and it changes from day to day. The useful habit is to compare several offers against the market rate at the same moment and pick the one closest to it from a seller with a good record. Read why the P2P rate differs from the dollar rate for the full explanation.
Safety reminders
- Trade only through the platform's escrow, and never release USDT before the money is in your account.
- An offer far better than everyone else's is a warning sign.
- Follow the rules that apply to you. See crypto rules in Pakistan and crypto tax in India.

Why is my premium negative when selling?
