About CoinRate
CoinRate is a free converter that shows what Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT and other coins are worth in Pakistani rupees, Indian rupees, Gulf currencies and other major currencies.
Why this site exists
Most crypto sites quote prices in US dollars. People in Pakistan, India and the Gulf then have to do a second conversion in their heads, often with the wrong exchange rate, and read eight-digit numbers without lakh and crore. CoinRate does both steps at once and writes large rupee amounts the way people actually say them.
Who we are
CoinRate is an independent project based in Pakistan. It is not owned by, or paid by, any exchange or crypto company. Pages are written and checked by CoinRate Editorial, following our editorial policy: every rule or tax fact links to its source, pages about laws show a "last checked" date, and mistakes are corrected quickly.
What we do and don't do
- We show indicative market rates from a public data source and explain how they are calculated. See the methodology.
- We write plain-language guides on reading prices, fees and the rules in Pakistan and India, with sources.
- We do not sell crypto, hold anyone's funds, give investment advice, publish price predictions or recommend coins.
How the site is funded
CoinRate is free to use. It may show advertising to cover hosting and development costs. Advertisers have no influence on the rates or the content. Our editorial policy explains how pages are written and corrected.
