Lakh and crore: reading crypto prices in rupees
Crypto prices are big numbers. One Bitcoin is about 2.36 crore rupees in Pakistan and 81.36 lakh rupees in India. This guide shows how to switch between lakh, crore, million and billion.

Digit grouping
International style groups digits in threes: 23,599,537. South Asian style groups the last three digits, then twos: 2,35,99,537. The value is the same. Most Pakistani sources use international commas in print but speak in lakh and crore, while Indian sources often use the South Asian commas as well.
